If you're an existing Qlutch user with an active DocControl license or currently in a free trial for DocControl, you may notice that the FormFlows app is locked in your navigation panel. This is expected behavior until the FormFlows trial is activated. Admin users can follow these steps to start their FormFlows trial and gain access to the application.
Why is FormFlows Locked?
When a DocControl license is active or in trial, but FormFlows appears with a lock icon in the left-hand app navigation panel, this means FormFlows is not yet activated for your organization.
Steps to Unlock and Access FormFlows:
- Note: Only Admin users can activate the trial and assign access.
1. Navigate to the Admin Panel and go to the App Manager Tab:
- Click on Admin from the bottom of the left-hand panel.
- Once you're in the Admin panel, make sure you're viewing the App Manager tab.
2. Click the "Try Free" Button for FormFlows
- Under the FormFlows section, click the Try Free button.
3. Start the Free Trial and Assign Admin Access
- A pop-up window will appear prompting you to begin the 30-day free trial for FormFlows. Click Start Trial and ensure you grant yourself Admin access during this step.
- If you do not assign yourself as an Admin to the FormFlows app, you will not be able to access it - even after starting the trial.
You Now Have Access to FormFlows!
- Once the trial is activated and Admin access is assigned:
- The lock icon will disappear from the FormFlows app icon.

- You will be able to click into FormFlows from the side panel and begin using it.
